Personal Experience
I have stayed several times at Howard Johnson by Windam Bengaluru Hebbal. The hotel is located on the main road and hard to miss it. My last stay was in May 2022. The front desk staffs (Aallya and Manoj) were very friendly and made the check-in process very easy and efficient. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The room had two water bottles, hot water kettle, coffee/ tea pockets and a small fridge. The bath room was clean and the shower had a good water flow. The room had several universal power outlets to charge my cell phone, camera and computer.
My stay came with a free breakfast. They had a very nice collection of south Indian vegetarian items, a few non-vegetarian item, bread jam and milk coffee/ tea. I also ordered omelet and dosa. The hotel also offers a lunch and dinner buffet at a reasonable price. I tried the dinner buffet and enjoyed the variety, including chicken tika, chicken curry, fish curry and fried rice. All the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant Staff Samir was very helpful and came up with a dish to suit my son’s taste.
The hotel has a decent gym, sauna, swimming pool and spa located on the fifth floor. The spa offers various massages at a reasonable price.
The adjacent building is the Element mall. The mall has a food court, Movie Theater, grocery store and various other stores. This is a one minute walk from the hotel. The food court has a nice collection of fast food chains (Domino Pizza, Burger King, McDonald, KFC and more).
I received unexpected and amazing service from the Managing Director of this hotel. I had checked out and was waiting in the lobby for my friends. Mr. Rishi Neorge, Managing director, stopped by and asked when my friends would arrive. When he found out it would be another 4-5 hours, he asked the front desk to give my son and me a room until my friends arrived.

I enjoyed my stay this time as well as previous times and plan to only stay here whenever I visit Bangalore/Bengaluru.
