During our two-day stay in Budapest, we initially planned to visit Buda Castle but found it closed on Monday. Undeterred, we walked back to the bus stop and then strolled in the opposite direction towards Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion area.
After spending some time exploring both historic sites, we searched for a place to eat and stumbled upon Ramazuri Bistronomy for lunch. Opting for a Hungarian dish, I tried the chicken with cheese, a new experience for me, and found it delightful.
The staff at Ramazuri Bistronomy were exceptionally friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of dining here is the outdoor seating, which offers a splendid view of Matthias Church. The restaurant is conveniently located just a minute away from the church, making it an ideal spot for a meal after sightseeing.
Additionally, the famous Fisherman’s Bastion is situated right behind the church, and Buda Castle is only a 10 to 15-minute walk from the restaurant. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a delightful dining experience amidst Budapest’s historic charm
